Open minds. Cross borders. Change the future.

At Dusemond, we turn cultural exchange into something extraordinary—bringing young people together from across the globe to learn, explore and create memories that shape who they become, how they see the world, and what they dream of next.

Our programmes are for international 10-17 year olds and they run throughout the year, with our busiest times during the UK’s Spring and Summer vacations.

Why Dusemond?

  • Global Perspective

Our programmes emphasise the role of English as a tool for global connectivity and understanding.

  • Building Character

We focus on holistic development, nurturing attributes like resilience, global citizenship, and courage alongside language skills.

  • Engaging & Fun

Our approach is centred on interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.

  • Personal Experience

We prioritise the safety, inclusion, and overall well-being of each participant, ensuring a personalised learning journey.

Internationality mix

Part of the “magic” in experiencing a Dusemond Programme is mixing with other international students, making friends and getting to know their cultures. Everyone brings something special to the atmosphere! It’s also an important part of ensuring that English is used and practiced around our campus – not just in class – as it’s the  only common language between all groups!

Activities & Excursions

It’s our job to pack lots of fun into our programmes and make every moment a brilliant, engaging experience. Students will find our schedule of activities is  a great way to balance their class time and let off some energy! Our energetic Activity Leaders run a packed schedule of fun sports, crafts, competitions, challenges, social events and more, so that being bored is not an option!

Students on our programmes can also look forward to exciting excursions, that take you to some of the most iconic places in the UK. Programmes usually have a mix of half-day, full-day and extended full-day visits, which will normally include a Dusemond-led walking tour, entry to a cultural attraction, and some well-earned free time. Extended days also include dinner out!

Local Learning Excursions

Our local learning excursions are designed to connect students with the communities surrounding their schools. These experiences provide opportunities to interact with local people and develop projects that are directly related to the area and its culture. They promote experiential learning and offer students a meaningful, academically challenging experience beyond the classroom.

Depth, Choice and Personalisation

Classroom-linked Excursion Lessons

To make excursions even more engaging and memorable, students take part in specially designed Excursion Lessons beforehand, so they get deeper insight into the places they’ll see. Once on-site, interactive Excursion Activities encourage teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking — often with the added thrill of competitions and prizes. Every trip becomes a richer, more meaningful adventure, with plenty of fun built in!

Electives & 15+ Activities

Most Dusemond programmes include some Elective Activity sessions where you can choose something that suits your interests.

We also run specific 15+ sessions which will be focused on charity modules. In the first two sessions our students will be focused on creating, preparing and delivering an afternoon activity for the children at local charity organisations – a fantastic opportunity for international cultural exchange and understanding. The latter sessions will see our students working towards a food bank project understanding the local community and offering practical support and help. The 15+ sessions are run in partnership with the charity organisation chosen by us in each centre.

Programme Types

Every Dusemond programme will include an exciting combination of language learning, cultural visits and fun activities, but we also design programmes that fall into specific categories and challenge our students in different ways:

Language Programmes

Our “Beyond English” programme welcomes every level, using English as a bridge to explore ideas and connect across cultures. It’s more than just lessons — it’s a shared journey that sparks curiosity, friendship, and a deeper sense of global citizenship.
