Teacher

Job overview
Are you passionate about teaching English as a Foreign Language? Do you believe in giving students a platform to bring their English to the next level and become global citizens? We’re looking for enthusiastic EFL Teachers to join our vibrant and supportive team at Dusemond. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional classroom teaching, creating a rich, holistic learning experience that develops not only language skills but also life lessons, confidence, and cultural understanding.
At Dusemond, we’re committed to your professional growth. We offer regular CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions and promote an atmosphere of reflective practice and collaboration, where teachers share ideas, learn from one another, and continually refine their craft. You’ll be part of an immersive, project-based learning environment built on our core values – Care, Honesty, Energy, Empathy, Respect, and Smiles (CHEERS!) – ensuring both students and staff thrive in a positive, inspiring atmosphere.
Staff stories
Working as an EFL teacher for Dusemond was an amazing experience. Unlike my previous summer school experiences, there was a huge amount of support from the pre-existing syllabus, and regular days off with no five (or six!) day continuous period of lessons allowed me to always have the energy to perform at my best in the classroom.
Working in a summer school without the pressure of exams allowed me to form a solid bond with my classes over the two weeks and make the most of encouraging cultural sharing amongst the diverse mix of student nationalities. Having worked for many different companies, I’m quite used to be told to go to the airport or run a sports session with no notice, so being completely free from the activity programme or any pastoral duties was a big relief!
